A 3-strand PE (polyethylene) rope is a type of fishing rope made from polyethylene fibers that are twisted together to form a strong and durable rope. It is also called polyethylene rope, HDPE rope or high density polyethylene rope which is a type of rope made from polyethylene. Polyethylene is a durable and flexible thermoplastic polymer. PE ropes are popular for fishing due to their high strength-to-weight ratio and resistance to UV rays, chemicals, and abrasion.
